Sakura

Fit: Zaful Bomber Jacket, My Rample caged bralette, HouseofChokers Ariana choker, Mera Leggings, Vans Old School sneakers

Konnichiwa! This look definitely gives me a Japanese street style vibes. ❤

Japan will always be one of the list I’d be going to if ever I had the chance to go abroad. I so love their culture and of course, the Cherry blossoms! (Sakura)

So the moment I laid my eyes on this bomber jacket from Zaful, it was love at first sight! ❤ I love the details and the embroidery. The deer reminds me of Nara and the cherry blossoms are just so lovely.

I paired it it wity my cage bralette from My Rample, I wanted to portray an edgy yet sporty look so I also combined it with my favorite Vans old school sneakers and leggings. To add a bit touch of  a glamour girl, I accessorize it with a sparkly choker.

Yes… And my best friend, a good shade of red lipstick will do.

I know it’s not cold yet like the weather we had the past few years every December so I suggest putting a light fabric for your inner or a crop top and a bralette like this with a high waist short or  your favorite pair of leggings would be good with your bomber jackets. Balance, balance, balance! 🙂

Breaking the Norm

It was one fine sunny November. Fall season for others but as you know it’s forever summer in the PH. Although there are times where I can feel the Christmas breeze or suddenly there are cold weathers because of the rain or typhoon (unfortunately).

So sometimes it’s a little bit difficult to decide what to wear and what not to wear. Then I thought, there shouldn’t always be a certain rule for fashion after all. It’s matter of expression. As for me, there’s always a story behind my outfit. If you notice sometimes I go crazy with it because I can’t seem to stick with one concept. It always depends on my emotions, situation and some daily random inspiration.

Then come this outfit for the first week of November! I really can’t seem to break free from my love of pastels. My dress seems to scream summer but since it’s layering season and for my recent obsession of leather/ moto jackets I had the confidence to combine them together! Who would have thought an edgy outfit can go so well with a dainty one? 🙂

Agettitude

Hola! A different day, always means a different outfit for me. I never got stuck in one style or concept. I always have to have to be me… CRAZY! :p

You know, I’m already in my late 20’s and the norm is you should always be wearing appropriately or accordingly to your age and status. Like, that white crisp shirt or that nice black trousers and a pair of heels. I do love that to wear that sometimes. But hell no, I ain’t gonna be your plain Jane all the time.And….  I’d might spill a cola on that white crisp shirt though. haha.

Soooo. Here is one of my personas. The edgy street style that I was always used to be. :)I really learned how not to care about how will people think  about the way that I dress up.

Sad to say, I live in a hometown where people will look at you from head to toe when they see something unnatural for them but I dare to be different. I want society to know your age or status should not stop you in expressing your own conception of aesthetics.

So here’s me rockin a tomboy edgy outfit because I just want to and I don’t care if I’m a mother of a 4 year old girl already. 🙂

Octo-brrr

Oh I just can’t believe it’s the month of October already! Bers are always going to be my favorite months. It’s also one of the perfect times to layer your clothing. To make you feel warm during the brrr days.

Can you believe it was a sunny  but I didn’t sweat wearing these? All I can say it was a one fine day! The day has finally come where in you can pull out those jackets/cardigans/coats you have been hiding for ages! Oh yeah and those chunky boots too that you’ve been dying to wear.

For this look I actually had a concept between glam and basic. I wanna go with the look of shiny shimmering splendid without overdoing it!  The Oversized Cable Knit Coat is superb! It can make a boring outfit into vavavoom!

I paired it with a Gigi-Inspired Choker to add sparkle to my look. A ribbed knot white top and a high waist black denim shorts with a vintage belt cause I like to add an edge for this whole outfit.(because that’s just me, I’m not all glamorous lol)

There it is. My look for the start of Octobrrr. Will definitely post more soon about layering clothes. ❤

Clavicles & Collarbones are the new Cleavage

During our 10th Anniv (Yay!) with my partner, we decided to skip the usual dinner dates and went over to bask on the beach in the afternoon and because this day was special, I also had a chance to wear my kept off-shoulder bikini which I saved and promised not to wear it unless it was really a precious vacay or getaway.

I really loved how this bikini fits me.I got it from Thrifty Weekend. They really have an amazing collection of bikinis. I swear! 🙂  These two-piece swimmies are not too revealing and creates the illusion of bigger bust (good for being not so blessed like me). I say goodbye to showing off cleavages as I proudly show my collarbones and clavicles which are one of my favorite part of body to flaunt when I’m choosing my clothes. Scream more CONFIDENCE! 🙂

Sun is too high.  Got to wear my favorite Mix n Match Sunnies.

Hey! Who says you need more lift or bigger boobs when too look sexy on bikinis? You can be if you just know what’s right to highlight! Show off and expose those C’s! 🙂

Liw-Liwa

One thing I love about my hometown is it is rich in beautiful islands and beaches. Since Boracay is already overrated, I suggest that people might be missing a lot of things here in Subic/Zambales. We do have islands that are captivating , white sands, clear crystal waters which are  not too crowded.

Now, I got my eye here in Liw-Liwa. It’s actually a surf spot but it’s not yet commercialized which I love most about it. Unfortunately, I still don’t know how to surf because of my fear of drowning even though I took swimming lessons back in grade school. Maybe I could only use my swimming skills in cases of emergency. I still do hope that I’ll be brave enough to try. On the other hand, I do know how to do skimboarding which I could just ride and slide on to the shore but in this time that I went, skimboarding was not a good idea because the waves were too strong and inconsistent during that moment. (So sad I could only ride on a flat shoreline. Poor me.)

Overall, Liw-Liwa was one of the great beaches I will definitely recommend and it’s really something to look out for.  I love how I can hear the waves crashing, the cool breeze, the feeling of sand on my feet and to witness the beautiful sunset which reminds me that life is really good.
