Island Girl

Outfit:  Island Life Bomber Jacket from Sammydress

Do you know those unplanned moments? Those are the best ones! ❤

So I went on a trip and with my love and the idea just came up for about 30 minutes after we ate in a restaurant. We really miss the waters and sand just like that!  It was one of the best beach trips ever!

I’m so happy to be residing near the bay area and beautiful beaches are just 30 minutes or an hour away! Happy to be living the Island life!

My packing for this trip just took me 10 minutes! lol Of course, I had to bring swimmies with me and a jacket for those cool nights and I brought my fave one from SammyDress! Isn’t it just perfect?

I know you’ll rarely see people wearing bomber jackets on the beach but definitely this one is an exemption! 🙂

Here are more photos from our amazing beach getaway:

I can’t wait for more adventures and even quick packing may sometimes be stressful, it’s quite enjoyable for me. It’s a little bit of a challenge in picking outfits that you’ll bring with your trip and that’s how I like it. A spontaneous one! 🙂

A day at the Carnival

Outfit: Bomber Jacket from Zaful Dress from Gang and Glamour, Shoes from Zaful

I always say that despite of my age, I’m always gonna be a kid at heart. ❤ I really enjoyed this day where I get to visit our hometown’s carnival in daytime. I know, during this time, the attraction and rides are still not operating but I get to enjoy seeing the colorful aesthetic of the carnival.

I wished it was opened during the afternoons, just like the theme parks in Manila and Laguna. What could be more fun having a date with your boyfriend/partner in a cheap yet exciting place to be. Dinner/movies dates are classy yes, yet overrated. It’s good to do something unique but nostalgic at the same time right? Anyway, I just dressed up looking like I’ll be on a daytime date! 🙂

Valentine’s day is getting near! As much as I want to look really pretty for my date, I would want to feel comfortable as much as possible or I’ll end up not being my confident self and not enjoying the date itself.

My tip? Wear a chic/sexy dress and don’t forget to bring a jacket to keep your warm! These days it’s been a little cold in our country, not freezing cold so a good bomber jacket will do!

Glad I have found one in ZafulI recently have this obsession for oversized jackets and it’s nice to match them with this tight, bodycon like side slit dress. Sexy yet comforting. You just can easily remove the jacket whenever you feel like. Of course, I also had to wear some heels but they’re the block ones so it’s still easy breezy to walk with them! 🙂

Have you already thought of your Valentines’s outfit? I’d be glad to know!

For the meantime, if you still haven’t prepared yet, you can go check out Zaful Valentine’s Day Big PromotionA lot of styles to choose from and great deals!

Hoping you’ll  all have a great V-day! ❤

Sakura

Fit: Zaful Bomber Jacket, My Rample caged bralette, HouseofChokers Ariana choker, Mera Leggings, Vans Old School sneakers

Konnichiwa! This look definitely gives me a Japanese street style vibes. ❤

Japan will always be one of the list I’d be going to if ever I had the chance to go abroad. I so love their culture and of course, the Cherry blossoms! (Sakura)

So the moment I laid my eyes on this bomber jacket from Zaful, it was love at first sight! ❤ I love the details and the embroidery. The deer reminds me of Nara and the cherry blossoms are just so lovely.

I paired it it wity my cage bralette from My Rample, I wanted to portray an edgy yet sporty look so I also combined it with my favorite Vans old school sneakers and leggings. To add a bit touch of  a glamour girl, I accessorize it with a sparkly choker.

Yes… And my best friend, a good shade of red lipstick will do.

I know it’s not cold yet like the weather we had the past few years every December so I suggest putting a light fabric for your inner or a crop top and a bralette like this with a high waist short or  your favorite pair of leggings would be good with your bomber jackets. Balance, balance, balance! 🙂

How I miss layering clothes! This bomber jacket is a total bomb! I have seen a similar one that Gigi Hadid wore so  was happy to get this in my mail. It’s perfect timing for the rainy weather.

It’s been ages since I have expressed my style thru writing. I dunno if it’s been the weather or my busy schedule. But you know what they say, if you want something you can always find time for everything. Although I must admit, it’s just that, maybe I have no special thing to say.

Until I realized that’s alright. You can not just make up stories so your outfit story will be interesting in the eyes of others. It’s a matter of  expression. The recent fashion blogging industry actually  made me uninterested. Before, blogging was about being yourself, embracing your inner style, a matter of expression. What just happened is it’s been a kind of business.I must admit that I have jumped into that box even I was just the out of the box kind of woman.

I remember I started blogging using my old clothes and unique thrift store finds. Way back 2009. Lookbook days where in mostly people were  genuine. I’m not saying I’m against new bloggers of today. I think you know what I mean. Those “I’m a blogger but I don’t even own a blog just a bunch of followers on Instagram.”  I ain’t gonna discuss further. Hurting feelings and making people feel unhappy on what they do is not my thing. But sometimes I can’t help it. Let’s just put it this way, there’s no “How to be a blogger” because it’s a substance of being yourself.

So to you fledgling fashionista, I encourage and would definitely not hinder you to be a blogger so go ahead, post that amazing photo of yours but at least write! Even it’s a boring one or only about your day. Hey, that’s okay!  That mood of yours made you come up with that style. What matters is not your followers, not your views or what’s trending on social media but conveying the authentic you. Yes, you are born to stand out. You will be remembered through your own unique brand. 🙂
