Vera Clothing Ribbed Top. Romwe Skirt
Yes, skirt you heard. It’s pretty rare for me to wear denim skirts but this one is an exception. I love the details. The cut and the buttons. It’s from Romwe. One of my favorite online shops.
Reminds me of my skirt during my childhood days with my roller skates on, hair tied with scrunchies then taking a sip of root beer after. Then I thought, I could have kept my old clothes if I just knew I will love them all over again. 🙂
I paired it with my gray ribbed top from Vera Clothing which fits me well as the skirt is not that tight and close to an A-line so putting a skimpier top will match it.
How about you, how will you wear this skirt? Let me know, I would love to hear your way of styling! 🙂

December’s near to it’s end and we will finally get to meet 2015! This month was all been good! Especially that it’s my birth month and Jesus’ of course. There were lots of surprises, happy events and moments. It’s really my favorite time of the year. It’s also the first time that I have given a lot of things which made me shopped endlessly for one week! Spell Broke! This is also the busiest Christmas for me but I really had a great time! 🙂
Moving forward on what I’m wearing… Trying to embody Normcore style once again. I’m not sure if this would say goodbye as this year ends but I’m gonna love the basic forevs. It’s all about being comfortable which I adore about it the most. I’m wearing this basic pair of top and shorts, my “I just can’t” reverse of Nike bag just because I’m wearing my new Adidas babies. This outfit mishmash brings out a sporty chic vibe.

Chunky Sandals- Love Bazaar
Normcore what? The term has been used all over the internet. Hashtags on Tumblr and Instagram. Those hashtags with photographs of people wearing athletic socks, plain shirts, every dad’s Nike cap or even Mom’s old Levis jeans. Something like a model that came out from a 90’s Vogue magazine that features Guess or Calvin Klein. What is normcore style really? Coming from the word “norm” which means normal and “core” for hardcore, it’s been all about dressing up in a mundane way. Since every fashion enthusiasts are busy wearing fancy and outstanding outfit, Normcore is just trying to basic to outcast their selves.
I finally jumped into the bandwagon of Normcore, I find it very comfortable. It’s an easy breezy way of styling. As I’m not a fan of vivacious colors anymore, it’s been monochrome and pale that I’m fond of. Wanna jump to? Wear those old acid jeans you got, that sporty t-shirt that has been longing to be unfolded in your closet, your dad’s Adidas/Nike cap and those basic pair of running shoes. Yup, it’s all about just being normal as if you prepared that for not more than 5 minutes and all concerning to basics.

Black skirt w/ slit- Oasap
It’s all about the basics. Reppin out a sporty-chic normcore vibe. I wore this Topshop inspired gray ribbed crop top and paired it with this perfectly-fitted slit skirt. To maintain the neutral look, I used my fabulous white bag and white sneakers. Yes, simplicity is beauty.
My wardrobe comprises of gray, gray, black, black, white, white and more of the same colors. These colors will never fade out of style even neon colors of the 80’s will make its major return once again. No one can replace black. There is no (insert color) the new black. That doesn’t exist really.
Anyway, moving on to my life these days, I can finally feel the Christmas Spirit. My morning starts with a blustery & cold but not too cold air. Nights are joyous with bright lights, people a bit crowded during the night walking and jolly Christmas songs are playing mostly around the city. Better be nice! He’s coming to town!
